The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax preparation services to individuals and families who qualify. Our IRS-certified volunteers are here to help you file your federal and state tax returns accurately and on time. KONA VITA will offer tax preparation for the 2024 tax year only.

Certain tax forms may be out of scope, for a detailed list please refer to IRS Publication 4012 for the tax year 2024 or you can reach out to konavitasite@gmail.com

Please be sure to gather all required tax documents (ID, Social Security cards, W-2s, 1099s, etc.). Prior to your appointment you will receive an email with a reminder and a list of documents you will need to bring in.
